The Heart of Hollywood — Where Legacy Meets Tomorrow
Welcome to the Woman's Club of Hollywood — a 501(c)(3) non-profit philanthropic, charitable, civic, and social organization that has served as the heartbeat of Hollywood for over 120 years. Step inside, and become part of a living legacy.
★ A Legacy Unfolding ★
In a young Hollywood still finding its voice, a group of visionary women came together to shape a community. The Woman's Club of Hollywood was born — a philanthropic, charitable, and civic force that would become the beating heart of the neighborhood for over a century.
The Club property became home to the famed Hollywood School for Girls, where future legends walked the halls. Jean Harlow, Carole Lombard, and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. studied here. Oscar-winning costume designer Edith Head taught within these walls, and actor Charles Laughton gave Shakespeare lessons.
The magnificent Spanish Revival clubhouse rises on the property — a two-story architectural gem that would become a landmark of Hollywood itself. With its terracotta warmth, arched windows, and timeless elegance, it set the stage for decades of glamour, service, and community gathering.
After a lengthy closure, the doors are open once more. With younger members joining alongside industry veterans, the Club is writing its next act — blending the magic of Old Hollywood with the energy of today. Monthly luncheons, Afternoon Teas, evening salons, workshops, and community outreach fuel a vibrant new era.
★ The Property ★
Our sprawling property includes the 1940s Spanish-Revival clubhouse, a 1903 two-story schoolhouse, two charming wooden buildings, lush gardens, and the only large private parking lot in Hollywood — holding up to 150 cars.
The Grand Ballroom, dressed for an evening celebration

Soaring ceilings, hardwood floors, four tall windows, and a full stage with backstage scene-dock. For over 80 years it has played gala hall, concert stage, theatre, and film set — a setting worthy of the silver screen.

A charming salon with large windows and two sets of French doors opening onto the center garden courtyard. Ideal for cocktail hours, receptions, and private conversations.

A fully equipped period kitchen — six-burner stove, grill, convection oven, commercial refrigeration, and generous prep space — supporting events of any scale.

An elegant upstairs meeting room with hardwood floors — perfect for conferences, lectures, board meetings, and intimate gatherings.
